Questions & concerns

I'm self-employed or work on a contract. Do I stand a chance?
Yes. A great many of my clients work on CIS, agency contracts or run their own business. Lenders assess this kind of income very differently, which is why comparing offers matters so much. We'll check which lenders best fit your situation.
I have a poor credit history. Does that rule me out?
Not always. We start with your credit report and tell you honestly what's possible now and what needs time and a repair plan. The final decision always rests with the lender, but with us you won't be guessing in the dark.
I don't have a big deposit. Is the dream over?
Not necessarily. Low-deposit mortgages are available, and in some cases up to 100% of the property value, subject to the lender's criteria. We'll check whether you qualify and how much you realistically need.
How much does your help cost?
The affordability check and initial consultation are free and commit you to nothing. If you decide to work with us, any fees will be set out clearly and in writing before you make any decision. After the initial affordability and credit-history check, our standard fee for a residential purchase is £599. If you have an adverse credit history or are buying a buy-to-let property, the standard fee is £899.
